What is ProSec™?
ProSec™ is Dusty’s waterproof–breathable system.
Instead of one fixed membrane, ProSec™ is a rating-based system that tells you exactly what level of protection each product has.
ProSec Ratings Explained:
- ProSec™ 20 → 20K Waterproof / 15K Breathable
- ProSec™15 → 15K Waterproof / 15K Breathable
- ProSec™10 → 10K Waterproof / 10K Breathable
Each Dusty outerwear piece will display its ProSec rating so riders instantly know what performance level they’re wearing.
How ProSec Works:
Regardless of rating, all ProSec systems include:
- A waterproof membrane (PU or similar)
- A breathable inner structure
- A durable, re-applicable DWR coating
- Dusty’s minimal, clean outer shell
ProSec™ keeps the explanation simple and straight, without exaggeration — you get the exact protection level you paid for.
Product Care
How do I take care of my Dusty outerwear?
Washing:
- Machine wash cold, gentle cycle
- Use a tech wash only (no regular detergent or softeners)
- Avoid regular detergent — it leaves residue in membranes
- Close all zippers, snaps, Velcro
- Wash separately from rough fabrics
Drying:
- Hang dry or tumble dry low
- Low heat helps reactivate the DWR
- Avoid bleach, softeners, ironing, or high heat
Can I re-apply the DWR coating?
Yes — DWR can be reapplied anytime.
DWR naturally wears off due to friction from snow, chairs, straps, and general use.
When water stops beading on the surface, it’s time to refresh it.
How to reapply:
1. Wash using a tech wash
2. Apply a spray-on or wash-in DWR
3. Tumble dry low for 15–20 minutes
4. Test by sprinkling water — it should bead instantly
Your ProSec membrane underneath stays waterproof even when the DWR fades.
You’re just refreshing the outer layer.

Where do you ship?
We currently ship to Canada, and internationally.
How long does shipping take?
Delivery times vary by location:
- Canada: 3-7 business days
- United States: 5-10 business days
- International: 7-14 business days
Do you offer expedited shipping?
Yes, expedited shipping options are available at checkout for most destinations. Rates and delivery times will be displayed based on your location.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. You can use this to monitor your package's progress.
Orders & Returns
Can I modify or cancel my order?
Please contact us immediately if you need to modify or cancel your order. Once an order has been processed and shipped, we cannot make changes.
What is your return policy?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please refer to our refund policy for detailed information about returns, exchanges, and timeframes.
How do I initiate a return?
Contact us with your order number and reason for return. We'll provide you with return instructions and a return authorization if applicable.
Products & Sizing
How do I choose the right size?
Each product page includes a detailed size chart with measurements. We recommend measuring a similar garment you own and comparing it to our size chart for the best fit. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us: contact@dustysupply.com
What if I'm between sizes?
If you're between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit. Check the product description for fit notes (slim, regular, relaxed) to help guide your decision.
Are your products sustainably made?
We're committed to quality and responsible sourcing. Contact us for specific information about materials and manufacturing for individual products.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), as well as other secure payment methods available at checkout.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All transactions are processed through Shopify's secure payment gateway. We never store your complete payment information on our servers.

Do you have a physical store?
